MAY 16

Beter late than never: here are some photos of me in Paris! I went to Paris this weekend & had the most wonderful time! I went to all the touristic spots and wandered through the lovely streets of Montmartre, really worth a visit for dinner and strolling around afterwards. I visited some high fashion shops as well, at Avenue Montaigne, the fancy shopping street in Paris. I visited Chanel and Louis Vuitton and was so happy I could see the amazing S/S 2013 Louis Vuitton collection in real life, as I loved that show a lot.

Another peak this week was watching The Great Gatsby in première yesterday. I've read the book bt F. Scott Fitzgerald quite some time ago and I must say, Baz Luhrmann did a wonderful job. I recognized my favourite quotes from the book in the movie, and most of all: great casting! Leonardo DiCaprio was a wonderful Gatbsy, and Carey Mulligan did a wonderful job as well, playing Daisy. The characters were quite like how I had imagined them, and I loved the clothes. Prada all the way, perfect for this movie! I must say, it was a wonderful break from feeling ill and run-down for the past few days.

MAY 9

I proudly present you: my new dressy Edressy dress! This is my very first custom-made dress, and I'm in love with its colour! Perfect for this summer, so bright that it makes me instantly happy. I was honoured when Edressy asked me if I was interested in a collaboration, and when I took a look at their website, I knew that I would find my dream dress there. I made a huge wishlist of dresses I liked, but as the website is really popular, only this dress was available. I wasn't sure at first, but when I put it on, I was glad I decided to pick this dress! And what's so great about it, is that you can leave your measurements when ordering a dress, so you can make 100% sure it will fit. Because nothing is worse than ordering something online, waiting, waiting, feeling very curious and not being able to wait to put it on, and then it arrives and it doesn't fit. Not the case with these dresses! So ladies, if you're looking for a special occasion dress, you know where to go!

So what do you think of this colour? How how would you combine it? Would you go for black, like I did, or would you dare to do some colour-blocking? I'm curious, so let me know!

MAY 7

I bet everyone has noticed: the Met Ball 2013 had passed. Fashion website are full of red carpet pictures, involving lots of punk looks. The 2013 Met Ball is one of the biggest red carpet event in the fashion calendar, and stands for an evening of extravagant style, where designers, models, actors and singers show up in the most amazing gowns and suits. This year's Costume Institute exhibition at New York's Metropolitan Museum taked place just yesterday and was a tribute to the punk era. As punk isn't really my cup of tean I found it hard to find looks that I really liked. Some of it was way too edgy, e.g. the hair of Miley Cyrus or the boots of SJP.  These six ladies were my absolute favourites, with Doutzen Kroes as number one! I love quilted leather, and she totally rocks it. This fellow Dutchie is so fierce, love her style, she looks flawless wearing Theyskens' Theory.

Sienna Miller and Cara Delevigne rocking studs.

What I loved about Chanel Iman is the fact that her pink dip-dye matches her clutch. Punky detail, right?

Elizabeth Banks understands the gold trend very well, rocking Atelier Versace.

Cut-out looks so gorgeous on Jessica Alba, wearing a gorgeous Tory Burch dress.

MAY 3

Well hello there May! Summer getting closer and closer, as well as exams. But I look at the bright side of life: I had such a wonderful week. Didn't have classes on Tuesday and Wednesday, and besides studying, I had a wonderful day with my lovely friends and went swimming with my boyfriend. I'm proud of the new King and Queen of The Netherlands and enjoyed singing along the "King's Song", quite notorious. Even classes were fun! I now finish this post by telling you that I adore my statement necklace and combine a lot of outfits with it. Such a great addition to an outfit in my opinion! What's your favourite statement necklace outfit?

APRIL 27

On today: my Thursday outift! Maybe a tad late, but I still wanted to show you that even Belgium can be very sunny and hot. It was the best day in ages, about 22°C and sun all the time. I did some tanning and turned out red, as usual. I studies outside with my roommates, and after schoolwork was done, my love and I went into the city to enjoy the perks of summertime. I had a delicious cup of frozen yoghurt, and wandered thourgh the streets, hand in hand with my boyfriend. It was such fun! After dinner we went out for a coctail, yum! Quite a perfect day, right? Sadly enough, the day after it was raining and freezing cold, but I'm hoping for summer to arrive very soon! Hope you like my outfit, and that you all have a marvelous weekend!

APRIL 21

Home sweet home! I'm back from my trip to Berlin, so sad it's over already! We visited so many beautiful places, I loved the atmosphere, did some shopping (ofcourse!) and partied a lot. The weather was amazing, so it felt more like a trip to southern France instead of Germany. This week was so wonderful; the trip to Berlin was perfect, and yesterday, we had our very last volleyball match. We had a little goodbye party by eating pizza and drinking cava together, and afterwards we went to a little party. I had such a wonderful week, oh my!

The outfit I'm wearing is entirely new! I did some wonderful shopping in Germany, and bought this cute little dress, paired with a statement necklace and gold-black bangles. Chinese prints are huge for the summer, so I decided to get myself a Chinese dress. I've been searching for a statement necklace like forever and now I finally found the pair I was looking for. You could say I feel very satisfied. Hope you like this look!

APRIL 12

Hiya! Thank to all of you, your comments on my last post were so incredibly sweet! I hope you like this look as much. Today was such a lovely day, wonderful study break. My love and I went to eat ice-cream, delicious! I had macaron ice with peach sauce and little pieces of piece, yumm! We also took a walk in the little forest in our backyard, where we took my outfit photos. I found it quite hard to pair my new fluffy turtleneck, as it makes you look old quite fast, so I went for leather shorts!

Also, I have to tell you, filled with sadness, that it might take a while before my next post. I'm leaving for Berling this Sunday, and I'll be home next Friday. It's a school trip, for my German class, so I won't be able to stroll around your lovely blogs, but I'll catch up when I'm back!
